Disclaimer
Those of you who see that some of my pics seem to be taken while I'm driving, well, you're right. I do not use the viewfinder or the LCD display while in motion though, I just point the camera at I what want a shot of, and hold down the button. Usually I miss my pic but I am getting better with practice. Please don't worry that I am putting myself in danger I am too chicken to risk it all on a picture while driving over the road. Most of my road shots are at slow speeds and only taken after I make sure there is no other vehicle within 300 meters. Highway shots are not an option unless I'm in the passenger seat. :)

Japan Night 2010 at University of Missouri St. Louis
Ikebana Demonstration, the art of flower arrangement is truly a high craft in Japan
Alex listening to traditional ballads called Enka in Japanese
Another Ikebana Arrangement, this one uses a Redbud tree branch some Daffodils and, some Lily or Iris leaves
The taiko group, Saint Louis Osuwa Taiko
Modern Ikebana
More Modern Ikebana, this is the finished display
He didn't actually eat that, but it's a good pic!
The girls got their names done in calligraphy
Looking thoughtful
Enjoying the night
Me, trying my hand at origami. I kinda suck but Angie liked the crane that I made for her.
The next pic are the Taiko group jammin' on stage!
